alt_blaiseI'd really like it if you'd come with me for Mother's nuptials on the 6th. The thing itself will just be the necessary witnesses, Cooper and Mother. She's told me I needn't be there, and I'm certainly not going to protest that. But there's a reception and then a supper, and I hope you'll come.
I think you'll have your own invitation sometime this week, though knowing Mother, she may have decided it would be more appropriate to include you on the card to your parents. Whatever. I'm inviting you, and it would make me feel very much better about the whole business if you'll be there.

I'll come for you at half-five, and we can go together in the carriage. The reception's to be at the Banqueting House in Whitehall. Supper will be at Jermyn's with a more select group (by Mother's standards, though, so it could still seem quite a crowd).
Mother says she'll be changing between the two and that if you wish to do the same, you could send your robes along with hers to be held in the lounge where she and the others will be shifting dress.
