I must have. Or else it's just the exertion. Either way I feel sore all over today. I haven't been exercising as much now that there's snow on the ground, and now I regret it!

I was annoyed with him, as it so happens. He was so rude dismissive about it when I asked him to help out with the event yesterday. Anyway, he's made up for it today by giving me chocolates.

Listen, Daphs. Are you sure you want to be going on with him? I'm not saying you shouldn't, only it doesn't seem as if you always think he's worth the aggravation. And to be honest, I don't think he's good enough for you--but that only makes me sound like your grandmother, doesn't it?

As for Barney, he'll be leaving school in a few months and then he'll have to we'll have to end things for good. Meanwhile, he's certainly a distraction from other things I'd prefer not to dwell on.
